We add nothing artificial to the wax: No dyes, no colouring agents and absolutely no paraffin wax. The suitable wooden wick & cotton wick give perfect burn time. The finish is smooth to touch, sometimes with some charming imperfections- frosting at the edges, a ripple in the surface. It's feature not a bug!
